Oh hi, glad you're looking! Balloon artists are a great way to add color, laughs, and uniqueness to an event.
I'm PhilUP and have over 20 years of experince doing what I love, making balloons, and smiles!
I'm a twister which means I make objects out of special balloons like animals, hats, and wearables (things you wear out of balloons).
Balloon artists typically charge by hour or event.
Balloon artists typically include all balloons in the price.
Have questions shoot me a contact message and let me know how you want me to contact you; phone, text, email.
I prefer PhilUP, yet I know what you're asking. I'm a balloon artist that specializes in balloon twisting (animals, hats, creatures, and wearables (things you wear).
Things people have called me at events.
"Balloon wizard"
"Balloon guy"
"Balloon expert"
yet officially I'm a balloon twister!
#1 fun
#2 professional
#3 a lot of laughs
I pride myself on being a stress free entertainer. I show up before the event starts. I set up quickly, and hit the ground running with balloons!
A lot, yet it all depends on how detailed the
sculpture. If we are doing line work at a large event, the balloons tend to be quick, simpler sculptures. At a private party with 10-15 kids, everyone will likely get multiple, larger balloon sculptures.
Overall I I can make over 150+ different balloons.

All over the US+Canada.

Yes and no. Tips are a way to say to an artist "you did a great job," yet there are times where I view it as "inappropriate" to take tips. Events where I'm paid to be there I do NOT solicit tips. I won't refuse them, yet I have 0 intention and make 0 attemp to receive them.
Now with unpaid events this is a little different. With approval from the organization I wear a badge that says "I work for tips."
There are many balloon artists just like people in the world. Some unfortuntally only care about the $, where I care about the party goers and making events a blast. When hired I'm honored to share my passion and strive to be the best from being at events before they start, clear communication, to being a stress free entertainer. I do what I say and more!
I have 20+ years of experience and have preformed over 500+ diverse events in two countries US+Canada and 5 states Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and Louisiana.
I also haven't ever cancelled an event (except when the hospital wouldn't discharge me). If I book I 100% intend and do whaterver I can to be there!
My goal with events is to be the best dressed at whatever the event it is, and yes even my weddings, yet not not as good as the groom...that might cause issues. Bowties are a must @ every event unless ties are worn.... as that would make things complicated.
No. Why? Well coulrophobia (fear of clowns) is 100% real and over 10% of the population suffer from it. It deeply saddens me when my love and passion (balloons) isn't forfilled when a child is in tears as some have stranger danger. I would rather dress nice and not scare off 10% of my guests.
Balloons have no age limits from children's birthday parties to adults at the bar you might be surprised how balloons bring out the smiles and laughs.
Go with your gut and hire the balloon guy!
Previous events that I've done that many might have said "you have a balloon artist?!" were
3 weddings
An orchard
Bachelorette party
Bachlor party (we made some insane balloons!)
Trust me I can inflate your event to a whole new level!
Though I do provide entertainment for select 501(c)(3) charities that are close to my heart, I receive many requests to sponsor entertainment for charities/fundraisers, that unfortunately, I cannot provide free entertainment for them all. I do offer discounted charity rates for weekday events. However, as a small entertainment business and my full time job, I depend on weekend events to ensure the business remains profitable and I can surrive. I suggest finding a sponsor to help cover the cost of having us at your event.
